Hello Beautiful Ones

I bid you all a fond hello. This blog will be aimed at promoting the pursuit of beauty in the world, a pursuit that is all too lacking these days.

We will be doing some interesting flip flopping of ideas, looking at the concept of beauty from the inside out.

There are many salons out there that focus on the externals, and while these are lusciously delightful, I feel that the real reason as to why we require beauty in our lives is being forgotten.

There is an ancient belief that the world is made up of 2 polar opposites, War and Beauty. As one increases the other decreases, and vice versa. The best scenario is when the tension is held in balance, so that the world can function as it is meant to. Too much beauty, no actions are taken. Too much war and terror, no joyous living is cherished. As you may remember, I often paired up with Ares, god of war, in an attempt to keep this Terror/Beauty balance alive and fluent.

It is all too obvious that there is an overload of Ares energy in the world today. With your practical obsessions with function, speed and security, you have lost touch with the meaning and importance of beauty. As a result I have come out of my seclusion in an attempt to move you out of your stand of aggression and despair, and back along the path of beauty. My sister Athena, with her devotion to civilized wisdom, arts, crafts and gardening has agreed to join me in this endeavor.
